I am currently playing FEAR on my laptop so I can be scared sh*tless wherever I go. Although it is just my school laptop it has decent specs and runs most older games beautifully. However, the one area in which it fails is HDD space, or rather SSD space. I have only half a terabyte total space and with all the games and essential work files I have, I am rapidly filling it. Which brings me to my question, is there any way to uninstall just the EPs (Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate) without uninstalling the main game? I have no burning desire to play them and they are taking up space on my disk but I am enjoying the main game. Any advice is very welcome and if there is a really obvious way of doing this and I've just been "manlooking" then I apologise. Thanks.

TLDR: Can I uninstall the EPs from Platinum Edition without uninstalling the base game.

I suppose you could just delete the FEARXP and FEARXP2 folders in your game folder. Though I can't test for you if the main game still works after that.

You could back up your saves first (they are in public documents) and if the game should not start after deleting those folders, reinstall and put your saved games back there.

It works without any problems. I did that a few months ago in the middle of a playthrough in order to gain a bit of space on my SSD for Dying Light and have not encountered any problems.
Thanks guys, my poor gasping PC will be grateful of the breathing space!
