As in title. Fear 3 on GOG doesn't support multiplayer (which is Fear 3's main draw).

Does anyone have idea why is that?

I'd assume it has something to do with how the game interacted with the games' servers and may have been considered DRM, but it would be nice to know why from the GOG side. Hopefully there's some code in the game still there from the co-op mode, and someone can create a mod to make it work over LAN or something similar.

The release post mentioned playing it in co-op, so maybe there was something overlooked before release?

Did co-op not use Steamworks? I assumed WB didn't want to bother porting the multiplayer to Galaxy, which is pretty common for older games released here - they won't make enough money for big-name publishers to want to bother.

Since GOG make such little money compared to Steam, GOG doesn't have much leverage, so unfortunately we have to take what we can get. (Not saying people have to buy it of course, but I'm saying I'm glad a single-player only release happened over not getting the game here at all.)

I can not purchase FEAR 3. I always have a error with Paypal, with other games not.

Well, this topic is mostly as an additional disclaimer (since the one in GOG store page for Fear 3 is way lower than it should be - rather easily overlooked).

I still bought it as soon as I opened notificiation email from GOG about it (I was looking Fear 3 on GOG literally 2 days earlier). I'm happy to own whole trilogy on GOG even if some small part of it (relatively speaking) is unavailable here.

And it's perfectly on time as well, since I've completed Fear 2 few hours earlier and am now going for Reborn then straight into F3.
