I was really excited to see F.E.A.R. being added to the GOG Preservation program, because I had this error for quite some time and couldn't get the game to run. Unfortunately it seems that the issue persists just as the game.

I'm running a Windows 10 machine and get "Error copying file", followed by chinese characters message when trying to start the game.
