I already tried running as admin, various compatibility modes and disabling fullscreen optimization. No dice. Does anyone have any tips? The game just won't start no matter what

I have the games on GOG, this worked for me! if you need any help just comment and let me know and I can screenshot what my files or whatever look like... but, I have Windows 10 and this worked for me... game plays amazing afterward.

If this is the first F.E.A.R., I advise you to visit the PCGamingWiki site. There are several patches that improve stability and adapt it for a better experience with modern operating systems.

I have no problems whatsoever with playing this on Windows 10.

Run as admin, set compatibility to Win XP (SP2).

It needed that dll tweak though to run smoothly.
