When I try to play the game I get a black screen and have to close it by task manager.
EDIT: nvm, I fixed it by using the directinput FPS fix.

I hate when that happens!
I tried the FPS fix but no joy. as soon as I hit the play button GOG galaxy the screen goes black and requires an end task in the manager. I have tried all of the settings for compatibility and I have even gone as far as reinstalling the game.
Running Win 11 home.

Runs great on Windows 10! What are your other specs? (Video card. etc...)

This requires a specific fix with one of two settings.

Either set it *just* to disable full screen optimizations in Compatibility, or both disable that and set it to XP SP 2.

That should do the trick.
