I'm buying a few new games from Gog and one of them is going to be either Fallout Tactics, Imperial Glory, Earth 2140, or UFO: Aftermath. Since this is the Fallout forum most people are probably going to say Fallout Tactics. But I've heard that its not that great and it isn't very much like the first two fallouts. I just wanna know what the community thinks is the best out of these. Or another $5.99 stratey/tactical type game available on Gog.
The fighting in Fallout Tactics is comparable with the Jagged Alliance series which is on GOG in it's entirely.
That series is turnbased strategy with RPG elements too.
I prefer the fighting in the JA series over that in FT.
Especially the fighting in JA2 and it's add-ons and mods.
The only $5.99 game in the JA series is JA2: Wildfire.
It's a mod of the original JA2, but harder and with a slightly different storyline.
Personally I would suggest buying Jagged Alliance 2 instead of Wildfire.
JA2 has a lot of mods available for it, giving you even more value for your money.
It's more than worth the $4.00 extra.

Alright thanks, I only have so much to spend every so often so I'm probably going to buy Wildfire but if I like it I will try JA2. Thanks for the reply.
