Awesome game, thanks GOG!
Very cool. Coincidentally I had just signed up with GOG yesterday. I had received 'Fallout' as a gift way back in the day, but unfortunately had lost the disc before I ever got around to giving it a good try. Never bothered trying to get it again for some reason. Been wanting to check it out properly though in recent years after falling in love with the series from playing 'Fallout 3' and 'New Vegas'.
thnaks GOG,it's my birthday and i never played this game it's such a gift for le thanks a lot!!
Shouldn't the give away be available the whole weekend?... Or is it a deal for newcomers only?

It was available for everyone, for the 48 hours since it was announced.

ZapMcRaygunn: I also want to thank you, GOG. I already have a disc copy (Fallout Collection) but this one runs perfectly, while that one does not. The only game on the disc that runs without wonky graphics is Tactics, so I'll likely be picking up Fallout II here as well.

Welcome to the community. You will find GOG does this sometimes, and they have sales at other times. There are so many great classics, such as Ultima I-VII, Wing Commander I-IV, Planescape, The Baldur's Gate series, and many others here, so enjoy!

furious_gamer: Thanks Zap. But all the prices are in dollars, and since i am from India, is it possible to purchase games using my debit card (in INR). Sorry, if this is such a n00b question, but i didn't find this info elsewhere
Don't worry, Furious, that's not really a n00b question. I'm sure they will be able to do that for you. They seem to be able to take any currency and convert it. Best of luck!

I think conversion is handled by your bank (at least, my bank charges me a conversion fee).
