Edit: Seems my question was too long and it was cut off. Below is my whole question.
"So both Fallout 3 and New Vegas are specially GOG-patched? Both with LAA and .ini edits, anti-stutter? No crashing or unstable framerates?"
End Edit

In the title are the only questions I need answered before I decided to plop down some bottle caps and buy them. As long as there are absolutely no problems running/playing them, I'm down to grab them. I heard there were far less problems with the GOG versions and that they run far better when playing them.
I own them both on Steam already, but even with .ini edits and other tweaks they don't play as stable and crash-free as I'd like. (I wish these were GOG connect-enabled.)
I can max both games on Ultra, by the way, so specs aren't a problem for me, nor was it the reason I suffered crashes and unstable framerates despite tweaks/attempted fixes. I am on Windows 7 Ultimate, for the record.
