Hi, after downloading & extracting the dmgs it takes veeeery loooong (almost an hour) to copy the files in the application folder. After copying was done, I couldn't start Fallout Part I, a message appeared saying it is recommended to throw the file in the trash. Same with Fallout 2. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Edit: MBP 2.4GHz Core i7, OS X 10.9

UPDATE: Using the GOG Downloader helped. As far as I can see, it's working now.

Yeah I had the same problem MBP retina OS X Mavericks. I read up on the site and they recommend using the "gog downloader" program. Ok, so I installed that and re-downloaded fallout using the program. This time I no longer get the "throw the file in the trash" message, however it completely froze my computer upon launching fallout. Had to hard restart. I don't really have time right now to keep messing with it, but just wanted to offer my 2c.
Well, first of all thanks for your 2c. :) I am currently redownloading with the GOG Downloader, so let's wait and see what happens.
well my curiosity got the better of me and I ran the program again. This time it worked for me! I didn't attempt to play the game at all, but just watched the intro and then exited from the main screen.

One issue I noticed was OSX told me I should install X11, which is no longer included with the operating system. Not sure what x11 is or if I should even download it. The game seemed to work fine without it, but there could be problems later down the line. I will probably download it after doing some more research, but if anyone wants to chime in the meantime feel free!
