[./play.it] Install the Fallout games on Linux

-----

Hello fellow Debian users, Ubuntu lovers and Mint freaks!

Here you’ll find scripts allowing you to turn your Windows installer of Fallout 2 into a .deb package, allowing to install it through DPKG and remove it through any APT front-end (apt-get, aptitude, synaptic, etc.).

Download links and usage instructions can be found on the following page:
Fallout 2

We hope you’ll enjoy the ease-of-use provided by these scripts as much as we enjoy writing and tweaking them ;)

Here you go for more supported games!

Hoping that bringing these back to GOG will push native Linux support...

That’s the only feature that could make me buy them again ;)
I don’t care about "HD" remakes and such, but for real native support (not some embedded WINE neither a winelib build) I would pay again without hesitation.
update

supported version:
setup_fallout2_2.1.0.17.exe

WINE prefix configuration is now opened with 'fo2-winecfg' instead of 'fallout2-winecfg'

a new menu entry has been added to enable/disable and configure the High Resolution Patch
(disabled by default)

Hi, awesome scripts,
Although had a few issues, first of all had to manually export the variable CONTENT_PATH_DEFAULT, after solving that a new issue arises when the script tries to translate the icon:

Error:
The following icon file is of the "image/x-icon" MIME type, that is not supported: /tmp/fallout-2.sCooZ/gamedata//home/***/Descargas/Fallout.2.v2.1.0.17/fallout2.ico

is there a way to solve this?
