timeslip: Edit: I've downloaded both games, and in the 2.0 installers fallout 2 is censored and fallout 1 is not.
Based on what you said before, doesn't that mean that Interplay or GOG went out of their way to censore the US version by manipulating the data files, since it has sfall included?

Edit: I made a mistake, and I was right the first time. No censoring to see here. >.>

timeslip: More likely the US exe was added to the UK master, and the data files weren't touched. Whether it was GOG or interplay who did that, I have no idea.
I see. Well. as you said, as long as Killap's Unoffical Patch corrects the censorship then I shouldn't really care because I'd never play without it.

timeslip: The unofficial patch includes (and requires) sfall, so it's true in a way, I guess. I didn't work on the patch itself though.

so all the 1.0 installers are uncensored?

I remember that the last time I downloaded them one was uncensored and the other was censored. I don't remember which was which.

Actually, when I bought the games a year ago it was exactly the other way around, Fallout was censored and the second one was not.
It doesn't matter anyway, just install the patch...
One should install the fix packs and the Fallout restoration project anyway, it adds new content to the game... so while I'm at it, I'm going to install everything I want to add to the game.

As far as the RP is concerned, has anyone reached the submarine yet? I'd like to know what your thoughts are.
