Is it possible to download and use the GOG version of FO4-GOTY modded for FO-London, on a PC that already has the Steam version of the game already installed and still being played. I'd like to be able to still use the Steam version for standard FO4 (with the next gen update) and use the GOG version to play London.

A friend has installed GOG after Steam and they seem to try to share the same 'SAVE' area for save files etc, causing some problems. I'd like to do the same but I don't want any cross-overs, or have to cut and paste the relevant Save files each time I change game.

So is there a relatively easy way to install and use both games without interference to each other? If so what is it please.

Thanks

I would like a answer to this as well, another New GOG user, but 8000+ of Fallout4 on Steam Version ...
Some ways I have seen suggested is use a completely seperate hard dirve to run it, if you have an older HDD this would be a great option.

Use disk partitioning if you only have one hard drive available to give the GOG different path to save to, which seems to be the biggest problem trying to run a steam version and GOG version on the same drive.

Setup a completely different windows profile that you play the Fallout: London mod on.

I am lucky enough to have a HDD available so that will be my solution to allow me to keep my modded steam version while using the GOG version for Fallout: London. I could still use the steam version with a virign no mod sitauton on the older hard drive. But since GOG ptu a deep rebate on it and hopefully by purchasing the game again it might make BGS stop to think how much of a solid the FOLON team did for Fallout 4 interest.
I managed to install it using a new windows standard/local account into a 'ProgramFiles(GOG)' folder I created. As expected it keeps the two games separated and the Saves and INIs separated also from the Steam version. Both games ran fine with no apparent interaction.

However, I am now being hit with loads of FO-LON crashes. All ran fine until I got onto the tube train then crash. Reloaded and tried again, this time got off the tube train walked down the road a little and crash.

Investigating.

But this method does appear to keep the games and their saves completely separate. Steam was up to the Next Gen build but I had no mods on it at the time.

I'm having the same issue. I installed GOG Fallout London on one SSD and my Steam Fallout 4 on another; unfortunately, they share the same save file location. Any suggestions are welcome. I want to continue playing both. I have hundreds of hours invested in my current (modded) Fallout 4 playthrough. Is there any way to make the GOG version save its save files somewhere other than the Users:\username\Documents\My Games?

Again, any serious suggestions are welcome.

Regards.
