I just downloaded F1 and Im using Vista as my OS....and i cant get the damn thing to launch. Ive tried the troubleshooting method listed on the site and also on stuff online and still...no dice. can someone maybe walk me through getting it to run on my system? i would appreciate it soooo much.

Are you running the game from the shortcuts provided or from the actually game folder?
If so heres one possible solution you can try out

yeah...no that didnt work. im not a computer guy at all and only got into fallout after gettin fallout 3 for xbox360.
the solution on that link seems to be for XP....im not running XP. I appreciate the help but yeah...nothing.
i saw a post that said something about deleting the ddraw.dll file...whats this and would that work?
The ddraw.dll file was used in older versions of DX. The issues it fixes is mainly error codes and color issues. It probably won't fix an issue with running the game.

ill give it a try when i get home. i had the fallout trilogy on a laptop that ran XP and it ran fine...damn vista
