Just got Fallout Tactics. What an awesome game. I'm thrilled to see the old XCom turn-based squad action genre lives on.
How do you folks arrange multiplayer games? GameSpy Arcade knows about Fallout Tactics, but reckons there are zero people online. Seems unlikely.

the best way is to have a couple of friends and use hamachi.
Good question I had gamespy installed for a while never actually got a game in.
Hoping this release might get some people playing.
It's good to have some buddies in your list who are interested in the same kinds of games. Just hook up with people on messenger, friends, acquaintances etc and try to arrange times to play.
Failing that, why not try to arrange a time on these forums and see who would be interested in joining an IRC chatroom (if you get a good IRC client you can join one of many IRC servers and create your own channel, like #fallout-tactics) - then, if there are a few of you in the channel at any one time you can say "hey lets play".
I think relying on random people to join in randomly may work better for more popular and current games, and you may actually have to make a bit of an effort to organize sessions yourself.
Yeah I'd have to agree that you're unlikely to find random people to play with for something that old. Id be posting a thread here or anywhere else you're likely to find people & suggest a time (converted from http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedform.html is best, that way people know for sure what local time it'll be for them)
you could try the no mutants allowed steam group
here it is!
I'll have to check out steam. The newest "news" at that link was 2007 ? !
Trying to get some locals to check it out.
thanks for the replies
