How often does the game crash? Does the game crash at startup? Does the game also have weird crashing bugs like when you play roulette, exit the roulette and bring up the main menu, then the game crashes?

I play on Win10.

These steps are pretty much needed to play FNV at all, yet crashes with even these are somewhat common.

Just skip "BSA decompressor", I think it causes more problems than it does help, use "Vorbis libraries" instead (only music changes, without graphics BSA changes, which causes problems, such as missing graphics), even with only music changes you will notice better performance boost than any other mod out there.

If you just downloaded GoG game and started play without mods etc, then there will be crashes so often, that I couldn't care to play at all, with changes / mods from that video, it actually play quite nice (few crashes that still happen, mostly when fast travel etc)

Personally my game performance is enough for my needs (8250U, 8GB RAM, SSD, MX150 GPU) on 1080p gameplay, just remember save often.

I play the game on Win10 64bit and use "nvse_5_1_beta4" and "NVAC - New Vegas Anti Crash-53635-7-5-1-0". Current playthrough of 7 hours without any crashes so far.
Made new topic about my post, nvm this.

Thx for posting that video, there were a few things I had not implemented yet. It's amazing what the modding community has done to fix this game. I have 20+ mods and fixes installed and they all work together very well.

Additional PROTIP: Once you have your New Vegas installation all patched up and modded, copy your entire game folder to a safe location, such as an external HDD. That way, if you ever have to re-install the game, you won't have to spend three days again setting it all up.

Edit: Also make sure to try out different ENBs, they can improve the visuals quite a bit. Some of them do significantly impact performance though. Personally, I use the ENB of the Apocalypse, with which I get around 50 FPS on a GTX 960 (4 GB).
