Hi everyone, I launch FNV through Mod Organizer 2 (nvse executable) and I was wondering if there was a way to get GOG Galaxy to keep track of my play time, it seems to have no problem with achievements and at the moment it shows 18% of achievements completed and only 1min of playtime
Have you tried the instructions from this thread? Should work, though I myself have not tried it. Probably have to switch out falloutnvlauncher.exe with whatever executable MO2 uses.

How do you even get Mod Organizer to run properly? Any time I try to get the thing to modify or read anything in a folder it freezes.

Trying to Modify Executables in Organizer keeps crashing the program.

Don't know what to tell you, honestly. I've been using it for ages and never had a problem.

Just gonna bump this because im in the same boat, im running the game through Mod organizer simply because its the best method of running the game while having a good overlook of what mods you have and the overlaps.

Its odd the galaxy client can track the achievements but not the playtime, id hope for this to get fixed or if there is any launch parameter we can use to get galaxy to run with mod organizer

So ive tried to make galaxy redirect to a modified shortcut but that just ended up making the galaxy client remove the game from the list, this seems hopeless, id really hope someone with more intimate knowledge about how the galaxy client and its overlay injects or wraps itself to the executable because this seems different than steam no? I dont have the issue here.

For the people trying onwards here's a tip on how to run new vegas without running it by startin up Mod organizer 2 and running it in there here is a trick via a shortcut or bat script

"C:\Mod Organizer 2\ModOrganizer.exe" -p "Profile name here" "moshortcut://:New Vegas"
This is a really neat feature, its functions exactly the same as starting New Vegas in the Mod organizer, so the galaxy client will track achievements but not playtime unfortunately

Ok so i think have found a working solution for this issue its quite simple

Once you have mod organizer running the way you want it, note down the profile name and open a notepad
copy and paste this and modify it to your liking, afterwards "save as" and save it as anythingyouwant.bat

Now the thing is, you can launch the game perfectly with this method without opening mod organizer, the issue is you still have no galaxy client overlay and playcounter, we fix this by converting the bat script into a executable .exe file

Once converted to an exe rename the old FalloutNVLauncher to something else and keep it as a backup, and name your newly created exe to FalloutNVLauncher and place it in the game folder.

Now you can launch Mod organizer with your profile AND have the galaxy client fully functional as it normally is through the galaxy client!
