My old computer had no problems playing Fallout Tactics, despite the fact that it was at the lower end of the system requirements. However, now I'm playing on a much more powerful computer and yet it is running slowly.
I'm playing on Windows 7 on a computer with a six gigs of ram and a 1gb video card (ASUS Republic of Gamers G51JX-A1, if you are interested in the full specs). I expect it's probably Windows that is the problem. Can anyone help me out?
edit: I forgot to mention, the only mod I have on it is the high res one.

Just a guess, but are you running the game as administrator? Not doing so tends to lead to all sorts of problems with games.
I found the answer on a different thread, apparently antialiasing causes problems with ram.
Good to hear you finally got it to run well!
