I tried to search the forums about this but I didn't see it.
On modern day computers when you finish Fallout, the scenes that show how your actions affected each villiage/town... well they pop up so fast they're almost subliminal.
So was GOG able to slow it down so you can actually see/read them?
Most of the people's posts I've read of people that completed are new to the series so if it happens too fast they might not even know.
If so, even though I have the unpatched game(s) on CD (fallout 2 as well) getting them to work in XP/Vista on a modern PC and being able to see the full ending and not just the FMV (or CS), is definately worth $6. ^.^

This question / problem has been solved by silvercrowaxeimage
I can't be certain, I believe it was fixed, but I'll have to beat the game to be certain, I'll see if I can speed through it tonight. I don't have any active saves because I had to reformat my laptop a couple days ago.

Yes.
I recently completed the game and the ending slides worked like they should.
Finished it last night, worked for me also.
Thanks for your replies because having had seen it before, now when I beat it... it isn't quite fufilling.
Makes them definately worth checking out from GOG then. ^.^
Ummm, actually it is not solved.
It is a problem with a certain soundcards. I even made a topic here about it.
To solve it, go to start - run - dxdiag - sound - HW acceleration - put it on "basic" or "off" level. Basic solved it for me.
Some people here that don't have this problem dont have it because their soundcard is compatible with Fallout from the onset, but GOG did NOT solve this, and this dxdiag work around is still needed. Now, I would appreciate if someone put SOLVE marker on my topic (which is called "Videos immediately shut down").
