Hi,

I've installed FO3 right out of the box on Windows 10. After a few crash-free game sessions, Fallout 3 has started stopping working during gameplay. This doesn't occur at a specific time, sometimes after 1 hour, another time after 2 hours. Additionally, after launching it, a notification appears saying that this game is not compatible with this OS and clicking on the notification redirects to the download of GFWL setup; but this GOG version of FO3 wasn't supposed to be GFWL-free?
Or perhaps is this the problem that causes these random crashes?
So is there something that can solve this issue? My PC has got Nvidia GTX-1050 Ti as video card, Phenom X4 9650 as CPU and 8 GB of RAM.
Thanks for the help.

same problem, same graphic card too
These bugs are present in all Bethesda games using the Gamebryo engine. This includes Oblivion, Fallout 3/NV and even Fallout 4. To reduce the amount of crashes you need to install a few mods: the unofficial patch, stutter remover and NVAC.
