No matter what I do, vanilla or with mods that try to prevent crashes the game still crashes. Sometime I can play for a few hours some a few minutes. Is it like this for everyone becasue I assumed that since it was on GOG it was fixed to a extent (it's still a Bethesda game) is it just me or everyone has this also my specs

16GB Ram

Unfortunately FO3 is one of the worse Bethesda games in terms of stability. You can try to reduce crashes by using NVAC (it also works a bit on FO3) and by using the stutter remover and the unofficial patch. Unfortunately, it still crashes occassionaly for me.
