I installed Fallout 2, along with the Restoration patch. The game runs fine, but is unresponsive to alt-tabbing in windowed mode (I can still press esc in game and move to a different window with the mouse though. It works in full screen mode. For both windowed mode and fullscreen, when I go back to the desktop through either method, the taskbar is frozen and unresponsive until I close the game. Fallout 2 also does not appear on the taskbar (for example, the clock is frozen), and the only way to go back to the game is by bringing up task manager and switching to the process.

Anybody have any potential solutions for this? Thanks

EDIT: This is on Windows 7

EDIT 2: Found out the problem. It has something to do with the shortcut and GOG launcher for the game. Redirect it to launch the fallout2.exe directly, and it works fine now.
