I've searched for an answer to this, but nothing's come up yet.


Fallout 2 will often randomly crash. It may give an error message - I wouldn't know because it crashes my entire computer. The only answer is a hard reboot. I've installed the Unofficial Patch. Anyone know what could be happening here? I'm running Windows 8.1 if that makes a difference.

Which unofficial patch? The one by Killap is the most popular but there are others. If that's the one you're using, try glossing over this thread (start on the last page and work your way back).
