Hi,
On my clean installation of fallout 1 from GOG, after I do the mission for the thieves in the Old Town in Hub and I try to leave the area, the game crashes and I get the error in the attachment.

I tried re-installing it, but it didn't work.
I also tried NMA patch, but it wouldn't load my save.

Any help guys?

Re-installing probably doesn't help, because the glitch might be stored in your save game. Fallout is known for corrupt saves. You could try falling back to an older save and see if the crash happens again.
The better but costlier way, might be installing the FIXT patch as there are tons of glitches left after the last official patch. Unfortunately all current unofficial patches don't work with old saves. Hence you'll have to start a new game.

Thank you, good sir.

I was stupid to save everything in one slot, though.

So I should install the patch from nma and start a new game, right?

As you can't use an older savegame, that would be the safest thing to do. Even if you get a work-round for this specific crash, it's more likely to bump into the next glitch in the unpatched version.
It's also important to keep several saves in several slots to be able to fall back to an older save if the current one becomes corrupted. Unfortunately this can happen even with the patched version.
