everything is possible, but it'd probably easier to drop wrappers.

The problem with running Windows games on a Mac is that there's literally no modding support at all. You'll just have to live with running it vanilla i'm afraid.

Not if you're using WINE to install Vortex Mod Manager no, but without it, it's impossible to mod.

I have no idea what's this Vortex Mod Manager.

It's a program from the famous NexusMods website, that automatically installs mods for your bethesda games on windows. On mac, your only option is to manually drag the mod files into the game folder, which makes uninstalling mods impossible, hence making modding impossible.

I don't follow the logic.
- What is wrong with manually moving files?
- You need to install mods to play them, uninstallation is not a prerequisite for that.
- Also, Fallout 1 isn't really a Bethesda game.

Why are you talking about Fallout 1?? This is about 3. Modding fallout often means replacing files in the directory of the game. Doing this will overwrite several files which you can never get back. A mod manager makes a backup and restores it when you uninstall a mod. Do you know what OVERWRITE means??

Scroll your page up and read the title of the topic. More appropriate question would be: "Why are you talking about Fallout3 here?"

Fallout 1 is not relevant in my discussion. I'm not talking to the thread creator Mr.deacon, i'm talking to burn.

And I responded to the topic starter, who asked about F1. This is what this topic is about. It is F3 that is not relevant here.
