I don't have my own computer to run these games on, but I have a thumbdrive. Is there a way to make them portable? I see the .pf files want to say on the computer, and the .exe not want to run without them. If there isn't a program that can fix this automatically, then how do I redirect the .exe to find the .pf files on the usb drive?

Couldn't you just install this with the drive inserted? (IF moving the installation folder doesn't work)

Tried. It still needs the .pf files.

EDIT:
I'm looking for 100% portability. Just moving it hasn' t worked. Inorder for it to work I need to change pointers.
I.e the .pf files from being loohed for on the C:\\… to being looked in the …/Fallout folder.

I checked this for you and it works.

- Installed Fallout 2 into a custom directory on my hard drive (C.\Games\Fallout 2)
- Installed Killap's Restauration Project http://www.killap.net/fallout2/web/Downloads.html
- Copied the whole \Fallout 2 folder to a thumb drive
- Used another PC and started FALLOUT2.EXE
- Works perfectly
- If the graphics couldn't be initialized, reconfigure it using f2_res_Config.exe

I'm not at a computer to try that now, but I'll try it when I can tomorrow.
Thanks

Thanks for the help.
I normally use an XP, but the Windows 8 I'm on now worked too.
A new problem has occurred though; the graphics aren't quite working right. I've seen this problem before, and might be able to fix it with some testing of settings. Thanks again.
