So I went to the Glow, got a ton of radiation. Is there a way to get rid of it all now? I know I should just reload an earlier save, find some rad-x and use that before going in again, but I don't want to replay all of that again.

Also I've tried this Falled program and gave myself 100 rad-away, used them all, but it still didn't work =(
Do I just need to use even more rad-away?

Thanks for any help!
As far as I know, rad-away is the only way to get rid of radiation. You can also wait, but if it's a lethal dose you will die rather than recover. I don't know if it's supposed to take more than 100 rad-away to get rid of it. I suppose it doesn't hurt to try taking more if you're patient enough, especially if the only other option is reloading an earlier save and doing the Glow again.

Beware, some of the drugs in Fallout are addictive, and your character will develop a dependency. I do not know if rad-away is one of these.

I have a vague memory of an item that can tell you how many rems you have... a geiger counter maybe? If you use one it should tell you whether the rad-away is doing anything.
Rad-away isn't instant, it takes time for it to flush the radiation out of your system, so (as Waltorious says) a lethal dose can kill you before you are rad free.

(Again, as Waltorious says) The geiger counter will tell you how many rads you have, not as useful as you might think though, you can go most of the game without it.

Personally, yeah I'd reload and use the Rad-X.

Yeah but if he's using Falled he could give himself a geiger counter along with teh rad-away, to see if it's working. I didn't remember that rad-away wasn't instant though. If he still dies after taking 100 rad-aways, it might be too late for him.
If you can survive traveling that long go to the brotherhood, bring them your holodisk so you may join and visit the doctor there to get rid of radiation.
One RadAway instantly heals 25 radiation level and additional 75 or so over time. Since you can accumulate radiation fast when unprotected in the glow you might need more than 100 radAway. Using a geiger counter is a good idea to see your exact condition.
Well I gave myself some more RadAway, used it until the character screen no longer said that I was radiated, but moving across the map kills me anyway. So I guess I'll just replay The Glow.

Thanks for all your help guys!
