This game is more than just a game - it's an experience. Everything from that song "Maybe" that plays in the intro, to the amazing theme music at every stage of the game is perfect. The characters are deep, the interactions realistic. Sometimes I have trouble believing that this game was developed so long ago. It's a testament to the fact that a game is so much more than just a fancy bunch of graphics. This game also lends much credence to my argument that the interactive video medium can compete with the age-old written medium as works of art - that video games can be great literature. This is a pretty rare compliment for this fairly new medium, so it really does say a lot.
In short, Fallout is excellent, and you would be foolish to not experience it.
