It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Already come patched to play (like on steam)?
I'm pretty sure they do, but i downloaded them a while ago. So I can't be sure.

Yes, all ready to go.
But not with fan made high-res, added content and whatnot mods and patches.
Than what patches do you suggest for F1, than F2?

It's been quite a while and someone else can probably do this better, but:

The main page for everything is No Mutants Allowed.

For FO1
Fallout Patch 1.2 ENG TeamX
Fallout Patch 1.3.5 ENG TeamX

For FO2
Killap's Unofficial Fallout 2 Patch (US/UK - installer)

The high resolution patches are nice, but can also screw up some little things.
There's Killap's restored content for FO2, but I wouldn't recommend it for the first playthrough.

Thanks! Resolution isn't an issue with a 10" lappy screen (1366x768)

Ah, you might like the high res patch then anyway,
the original doesn't do widescreen (except with black borders).

None of those are in no way essential anyway, I've played both unpatched and they were fine.
And did the FO1 in 640x480 on a 40" TV, which wasn't half as bad as it might seem. :)

What black bars? For videos They are smallish and square but the game does full screen. Still 640x480...so my computer must be stretching it? What version of the resolution patch do you recommend from that site you linked?

Must be stretched then.
Then.. do people look too fat or something? If it still looks good, no need to go fixing.

Looks like one or the other of TeamX patches already includes a version of widescreen patch? Don't know which one to recommend if not. The one with the biggest version number?
You may be interested in the Fallout Mods list.
Personally, I haven't played this but for FO1 it looks promising - http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=57362

Have played the Restoration Project for FO2, but first run I'd suggest just the un-offical patch; both can be got here http://www.killap.net/

The first one lists other things his includes (for instance the TeamX patches) - Note: At the moment this is more like a compilation of fixes, so you could probably go straight in with it. Indeed the list of fixes is longer than the list of additions.

Can't remember about res patches etc. Don't think the RP includes it but don't quote me on that.
