Hello everyone!
I have a Macbook Pro 2012 with an Intel HD 4000 graphics card (using Mac OSX Mountain Lion) and I was just about to buy Fallout 2 when I discovered it might not be compatible with my Mac. I'd find it quite unusual if it wasn't compatible considering how long ago Fallout 2 was released but I've come here to ask.
Thank you!

Fallout 2 can be runned with Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8) and Mac OS X (10.7.5 or newer).

At Gog all games are listed with Information about compatibility and games combatible for Mac are even listed at a own categorie.

Thank you but I already knew that. The reason I am worried is because it says on the system requirements page an NVIDIA or ATI graphics card is required and I have an Intel HD 4000.
O, sorry..then i missunderstoud you...hmm..the cards...over the years i played several times through Fallout 2 and at my first two PC's i had neither...but to be honest i never tested the GoG-version with a nonamecard.
I'm pretty sure, that the Intel chip will work perfectly fine.

Fallout 2 needs no fancy things like 3D acceleration, but only 2D display.
Furthermore, the Intel HD 4000 supports DirectX 9, which is used by the current Fallout 2 high definition patch for display.

So, yes, I'd say it works.
The game should be compatible. The version of OS X you have is higher than the minimum requirements AFAIK. The game should run fine. Hardware wise, the Intel graphics should be more than enough.
