What I could not accomplish in 1.0 and 1.01, I finally got done in 1.02 ...and finished the game.
Just after final completion, seeing the end-videos, I realized how significant were the companion quests (while in this playthrough I set sail as a loner wanderer / wayfarer, not even getting the little doggo... all for extra carry weight capacity :D)
While I did complete some of the companion quests in my previous play attempts, I cannot be sure if I completed them to full extend. And also missed the final video cut scenes.
But boy, am I am the only one who had to cope with countless crashes?
Some quests got buggy, which I tried to mitigate with the console commands (which is tricky, because this might easily backfire) and eventually it all somehow worked, more or less.
But constant crashes, especially outside, where the game would kick me to my OS basically every 5 minutes.
A bit less frequent, but still frequent enough, entering new locations / fast traveling -> ending in endless loading (forcing me to close the game)
I was driven by pure curiosity, and knowing how well some areas were made, I wanted to explore the maximum of what the game offers.
If nothing else, I need to share my experience while doing the cutethullu quest, as the final 'dungeon' was really breathtaking, surreal and wonderful. While not the longest to clear, but one of the most obscure and generally fantastic.
