Oh is this what's happening? I've been spending all day trying to figure out why Fallout London repeatedly prompts me to update the game (both the GOG launcher and the in-game start menu), it's been update-looping for hours, but it keeps telling me there's an update. Is this just a badly designed UX problem?

I'm getting insanely long load times and googling tells me it's common and I've seen a couple of ini edits or mods that may or may not fix it. Does anyone here have any advice on what procedure is currently the best way to fix things with the GOG version? Thanx.

There's a Load Accelerator mod on nexus that helps some people if you're running it from an ssd drive.
