Hello everyone,
I am reaching out here because I am having an issue I haven't seen come up for others. My issue is that the Fallout London installer crashes on launch. When I run the program (To be clear, just the installer, not fallout 4), either from its install location or from good old games, no window appears however the mouse cursor shows a loading icon. A process does show up in task manager briefly during this, however the loading on the cursor stops and the process dies without any new window coming up or any crash screen. I have tried looking for logs, checking windows event viewer, and looking for windumps however I cannot seem to find any crash logs for the installer.
If anyone has any insights on where I can see some logs for the installer, that would be really helpful. Most of the issues I see are people attempting to run fallout after they tried the install. To be clear, I never have gotten to a window to attempt an install.
