it involves using notepad and editing the income from structures. by doing that, i could start at maximum research.

go to structs and edit the stc files. it enables you to edit the output of the structures. in my case i reach level 10 in all technologies except for rocketry, which went up to 9. you can do the same with units, go to the unit folder and edit the unt and sut files. sorry if i answer late, it is just that i have not touched the game for months. i even managed to forget about these edits.

Does yours still work? I've been trying to get this to work off and on since I bought the game about a year ago and I always get an error message about invalid player files.

my edits still worked last time i tried it. i actually did the changes again today, as i am using a different pc to play it, which did not have the edits. the edits worked once more.
