Hi, I bought FE:LH last week and just finished the 1st scenario. In the next one Fallen Enchantress my starting village has no materials and no production. Is there anything I can do to get some production? Will buying the iron mine nearby with gildar help? Thanks.

Your initial hero has a one time only ability to make a village. You need to select a location with both production and food (and for a spell caster, preferably at least 1 essence). Be aware that many locations have no production, food or essence. Move your hero onto the appropriate location prior to hitting the settle button. If you build on a location without food or production... you have just lost the game.

Yes I know that. I was referring to the scenario where the village is already there. I eventually figured out the designers didn't want me to build anything so made sure I could not. But thanks.
