Hi,

I've got an issue in Takeo's Book Shop when the owner asks Tyler to help him find that rare book. Now I've done everything there is to do, in the order the game showed, but the prompts for looking at the bookshelves do not appear. I do get prompts when looking at the small ones near Takeo.

Any ideas?

I'm running the game on Windows 7, 32 bit.

Did you go to the 3rd floor? Book you are looking for is there on the shelfs with the lights.

I have the same problem. I solved the riddle on my own but I don't get ANY of the mouse prompts with exception to the book cases near Takeo. I watched some let's plays and it seems my game is bugged for some reason. I'll try a reload.
Got the solution:
Drop the book you get off of Takeo on the back table (where you can examine the book with the magnifying glass). Only then will you be able to pick up another book.

Just another thing that makes me unsure whether I like this game or not.... O_O

I got it. Leave the book you got from Takeo on the table in the back of the room (the one with the magnifying glass) and then examine the book cases. I seems you can only have one book in you hands at a time . . . . O_O

Yeah, this is one of the most annoying riddles in the whole game industry, I'd say.
Well, at least you can always bruteforce it.
