I just installed Factorio on my Mac with the standalone installer from the website. Now my applications folder is empty and folders have wrong icons. I do not know what the installer did but it certainly is not good. Tips would be appreciated.

Same problem here. Installed the game, it claimed everything worked fine, but I didn't find anything. The only weird thing about the installation is that it asked me to select a folder somewhere along the way, with no explanation whatsoever.
