English_Angel: The game tells me with the account I created, that I don't own the game even though I bought it at full price with soundtrack. It wont let me download mods because I don't own it?

I have enabled auto updates as well. Using 0.13.13 beta.

EDIT-SOLVED: Just found out I have a serial key in the site that I have to put into the Factorio site to get "full" membership, or to prove I bought the game before downloading mods. No idea why this is in but "ok". I can download mods now.

Buffalo_Ken: Can you elaborate on this? I'm trying to find the serial key you mention but am having no luck.....

English_Angel: Go into your library on the GOG site (not Galaxy), and click Factorio. Once you've done that, select "More" and "Serial Keys". Once you have your key go to the Factorio website here: https://www.factorio.com/ Create an account with them and then go to your profile and under membership you want to upgrade it with your serial key.

You can then download mods and use them from the official site. Or install .13.13 and use the in built mod browser.

Buffalo_Ken: Wow - that was a quick response....thanks. Funny thing is I just figured it out and was about to post as such.

I can't believe that GOG Galaxy (which is basically all I use now) doesn't have the same information as available at the GOG site. Go Figure.

Anyhow, now I plan on installing some Mods - this is really a great game.
