So, I just can't get my stick to work with the game. I tried everything in the previous thread with no luck (the patch, the clearing and resetting the settings.) Can anyone help with this?

Check the windows gamecontrollerpanel to see if your joystick is the preferred device.

It is, and it doesn't change the issue. :(

Nope. My stick doesn't work, either. TM Fox 2 Pro USB
My stick (Thrustmaster Force Feedback, non-USB) works fine. Is there a reference somewhere (I'm still looking through the manual) that says what buttons are mapped to what controls? And is there a way to customize them?

Thanks.
My joystick (Force Feedback 2) wasn't recognized initially in the config so I had to download the patch. In game the throttle worked but the x and y axes didn't. I pressed J while in game and it started working.

Another thing I noticed is the config may need to be run with 95 or 98 compatibility to work.

Got my Extreme 3D Pro to work using the Logitech Gaming Software 14.Jun.2010 version (version 5.10.127) I had to map the keyboard buttons and commands to the various axes and buttons to get it to work, though. my roll (X-axis) is way too sensitive but everything else seems to work well).

Still tweaking the throttle to enable afterburner within the axis range. I have more free buttons than I know what to do with at the moment.

I'm so out of practice, I keep getting lost without the map display and I hate having to look down at it every now and then but oh well, realism what I asked for.
