MAY I TRUST ON THIS FILE OR NOT?
THANK U

Most likely that's a false positive, it has happened before.
You can always send/upload the file in question to VirusTotal or do an online scan to your PC with Kasperky or something like that for reassurance.
MAY GOG STAFF CONFIRM THIS FILE IS TRUSTED?
THANK U

Really? No, it doesn't have a virus. I'm not a huge fan of Norton 360, so I'll refrain from commenting on that.

It is most likely a false positive. No anti-virus software is perfect in its detection. Try consulting the GOG team DIRECTLY (chances are they don't read this forum regularly) at http://www.gog.com/en/support/contact/technical_issues_with_games/expendable, or at http://www.gog.com/en/support/contact.
i submitted the question to the support team, but they havent replied till now.
i posted other questions to them about more games, but never received even just a hello!...
what have i to do to be considered???
LOL. You use Norton?!!! For a start, all antivirus programs detect false positives. I, personally, haven't used a resident antivirus scanner since I accidentally installed Norton "malware" in '97. Antivirus in itself provides a false sense of security. Scan your system with MalwareBytes and (if you were foolish to use any Microsoft software that uses ActiveX, and then visited dodgy sites) you'll find much malware crap that Norton let in the back door. AND NORTON IS PAID-FOR CRAP! If you know where the security flaws are in an OS, you don't need antivirus. Do yourself a favour and install Comodo Internet Security (CIS). It has resident antivirus - if you wish. I switch it, off as there is still the right-click option to scan individual files without it. Mainly, it is an awesome firewall and HIPS - FOR FREE!!! [1997-> 2011 = 14 years virus-free, with optimally running, uncrippled, machines. Just goes to show]

Good for you.
Looks like Norton is the best of a whole bunch of shite software that (many I haven't heard of and) I wouldn't touch with a bargepole. Great! ;-)
Everyone knows that Norton and McAfee are appalling, and it seems the crap they've tested here is worse than them even.
I can't see many commonly used programs here that I recognise. Possibly only Avast.
I've never heard of this site either. Who are they paid by? is what I would ask.
If you're gonna use ActiveX dependent Microsoft software than more fool you. There is no need. There are better, free and safer alternatives. Though, Comodo should still catch the bad guys if you must run their rubbish. The OS is great but MS extras are awful. Leave it to the dedicated developers.
Sorry, it's just that I've fixed so many computers where the owner has thought it was okay because they had either Norton or McAfee installed. About all you'll get if you have with either of those installed is malfunctioning OS components or programs, where they thought it was in your best interest to block them, whilst letting bad guys in the back door. Security is big business, built on perpetuated paranoia off the back of the laypersons lack of computer systems knowledge.
