I thought that I understood the game up to this point, but this has me baffled...
My staff room is in the same place that it has been for the past several hours, and is very much connected to the rest of my base. However:
(1) For no good reason, each and every enemy agent now makes it a point to tunnel into the staff room.
(2) When killed, their body bags just lie there. No one removes them.
(3) The minions in said room tend to go insane and run around "in a total panic."
(4) The additional stuff I ordered for the room never gets delivered/installed.
What gives?

Accidentally locked a door at level 3 or 4 without realising it to it? Blocked the path for them to get in//out with objects?
The behaviour you describe does sound like a blocked room....

Thanks, Jim! Yeah, it turns out that the room was blocked off - my henchmen placed two artifacts close to the doorway, apparently not leaving enough space to get in or out of the room... Moving one of them quickly solved that problem.

No probs - glad to help :)
I remember once blocking off my power station by accident.... Agents tunnelled in and blew half of it up (thus putting me red and opening doors for more agents to come in...) before I realised what was going on and cleared a path to get my henchmen over there....
Yeah - that's the worse thing to happen after stealing a nice item (carpet, mirror, dollar bill etc). I made myself to position these loot items ALWAYS myself, otherwise enemy agents crowd my place in no time ...
Actually I switched to build one main corridor with a width of 4 squares and put all my loot there. In this way I push the stats of my minions and there is always someone around to protect my loot when neccessary.
