I loved Dungeon Keeper back in the day, and this is definitely heavily influenced by its style of gameplay. But Evil Genius also adds allot more. The macro game on the world map adds a really interesting layer of strategy, building up your base never gets old. Lot's of rooms, upgrades, furniture, to choose from.
The whole henchmen thing is pretty cool. In DK you pretty much had to rely totally on your creatures AI to carry out your orders, here you have henchmen which are under your direct command. It feels a bit like the heroes in Warcraft III.
Over all, a very nicely done game which is way underrated.
The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have any sort of level/mission editor. I would love to be able to make up my own maps and try out all sorts of crazy scenarios.
Does anyone know if there is an expansion pack for this game?
