Dug up my old GOG account to give some feedback.

I love the premise of the game. Very original and the setting is great.

I realize that this is only early access but I miss the danger of getting into a fight that Everspace 1 had. More limits on weapon energy, nanobots, healing, and special abilities meant that I had think and prepare before attacking. And if I did decide to fight I made sure to pick a spot where I could easily retreat or take cover behind asteroids/wrecks while keeping an eye on the bigger ships that were a major threat. Combat in Everspace 2 is better in many ways but the threat of being overwhelmed in a fight is gone.

There's a couple of minor improvements that would be great to have. An option to make your ship semi transparent so you can better see what's going on in 3rd person and a distance indicator on your crosshair so you know how far you are from whatever it's pointing at. Not just targets but all solid objects like walls and ground as well.

Hi Vovik,

Everspace 2 is much more accessible regarding difficulty than Everspace 1. But once we start to implement difficulty settings, we plan to provide a really hard challenge for players who are looking for the old school ES1 feeling. So, yeah... please stay tuned ;-)
