Hello Devs. I've visited several shipyards in the game, and seems like all the ships are the same variants, despite the different modules used. Is this going to change in the final game? Maybe each variant of ship have tweaked attributes?

If not, how about that, as an idea? Different ship parts could come with attribute modifiers. And it would be great to have a shipyard somewhere where the player could tweak their ships with discovered- unlockable parts.
Example:
Xwings could increase 6% weapons energy, and reduce 6% shields energy.
Double engines + 6% speed, -3% hull
Side Tie-wings +6% shields, -3% armor
Front deflector layer +6% armor, -3% speed

Is it a good idea?
part blueprints could be found in containers or dropped by enemies or rewards.
And all the ships selling in shipyards would have different attributes.

It's not a bad idea, but it comes with a flaw.

Currently, afaik, the plan is to have ships' stats increased based on which tier of a ship it is. So far in EA, we only have half a tier: "tier 1" ships and "tier 1+" ships. And stats of those ships are different at the same player level, i believe.

Introducing stat bonuses to cosmetic / customizable parts - is good for any player who seeks to further customize ships' stats, but it's bad for players who instead value ship "looks" more. Because then, inevitably, the latter kind of players - they'll need to end up using some parts which are "exactly the look i want", but come with bonuses / penalties not desirable.

The current solution to that, as i see it, is Augmentation system. Right now, it's sort of weak, but i hope this will be balanced as EA progress. See, Augmentation system does exactly that: it allows to tweak this or that stat / ability of a ship, and it allows to do that for a ship which has any looks player prefers.

That's why i think it's best not to tie specific stat bonuses / penalties to specific visible ship parts.

You are right. MMOs fixed that issue by creating separate aesthetics inventory slots. It wouldn't work here.
What about a customization shipyard for changing the ships vsual? Is it planned?

It is planned to have us able to change wings, cockpits, engines - various visual modules of the ship, separately. Will it be at some "shipyard" or somehow else implemented - i don't know. :)
