Itty bitty bug: when boosting forward with only boost button held down (but not "move forward" button held down), using any side thrusters instantly disables main engines' exhaust effects. As soon as "strafing" is stopped - main engines kick back alive. Even when going through it all repeatedly and without ever releasing boost button.

Shouldn't be instant turning off for main ones, at least.

Repeatability - 100%.

EDIT: Hi, me again.

This is working as intended. The exhaust trail will immediately disappear as soon as you start to strafe (boosted) and release the forward key. The main engine though will still appear to glow. This glow effect is somewhat subtle with this strikers wing configuration though.

Best regards

I actually realized this shortly after making this report, but then i also recognised how in this case main engines turn off instantly - as opposed to how they gradually (over a second or so) "throttle down" when one releases "going forward" key (used without boost).

Therefore, it's still a bug: if main engines "fade down" over ~1 second without boosting when "throttle forward" control is released by the pilot - they they should do exactly the same when it's boosted "going forward", as well. And i think it'd look nicer.

Should be easy fix, seeing how "fade down to dimly lit" transition is actually already implemented.
