There is an update on Steam, how to get access to it on GoG?

Hey kodi,

Some Background information:

This is the first time that we did publish an experimental build - ever!
Once we've collected enough Feedback to consider the build stable, we will push it to the stable branch on Steam and on GOG as well. So the simple answer is, you just need to wait a little longer.

In the long run, we might do experimental builds on a more frequent basis.
If we decide to do so, we will most likely have experimental branches on both platforms and will update them at the same time. So you can think of this as if we were testing the feedback that we are recieving and not just the build it self.

Best regards,
Ingmar
Thanks for the answer and an explanation Ingmar!

I really hope so.
Chose GOG to support you guys more (I was informed you get a better cut on GOG to Steam but that may be incorrect). Now I fear I have missed out on:
Being able to actively contribute by testing experimental
Have to wat longer for new features
Possible lauch of Workshop integration has been mentioned
There has been an update how we want to handle experimental builds.
I'd like to cite the official response Micheal (CEO) posted on Discord.

This basically means that GOG wont have an experimental branch, but will still receive stable builds at the same time as on Steam. I know that some of you won't like this, but please read Michaels full statement why we won't do experimental builds on GOG.

Best regards,
Ingmar
