Can't set all settings to Logitech Extream 3D Pro, some are recognized on pressing joystick buttons, most are not, Game speed is crazy spinning out of control in space at high speed as I change view from cockpit to outer view without game play but shooting my weapons at nothing in frustration after buying the complete GOG game...

Make sure the game didn't map some things twice and map everything manually for your joystick.
The PoV hat switches don't work with the game as buttons, for some reason they are detected as additional ministicks so can only be bound to movement axes probably because the controller plug in they used thinks they are d-pads or something.
