The game works properly in Windows 11 until I get a CTD after some missions in US and UK campaigns. Haven't tried Luftwaffe campaigns.

I had a problem recognizing joystick axes that I fixed deleting Input.dll or something like that.

However, now I get CTD after a few missions in RAF and USAF campaigns. I've read it's caused by a video that's unable to play. Is there a way to fix this?. I've tried changing EAW.ini Video Playback=1 to 0 but that's what I already had in the ini file. Tried other Video Modes too (glide and software). Also tried to copy the campaign savegame into a moded version of the game (Aces over Europe 2022 from Mod DB) to bypass the damn video, but to no avail.

I like what I played of vanilla EAW, and would like to experience it unmoded. Anyone knows how to bypass this fu***ng video bug?
Dunno, do the other video's play?
Usually this is a video format error and if you can track down what video format the video is you can maybe inject a .dll into the gamefolder to make it work, smacker and bink were popular ones back then but there are others as well.

Then again if the problem is only on Windows 11 it could also be that Windows Defender sees it as a security risk and needs to give the specific video permissions.
Sometimes deleting or renaming the video will make the game bypass the video so you can continue the game.

Also for good measure try to repair the installation, maybe some of the files are corrupted, backup your save files though.
