It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Getting an "Installation Failed: Configuration Error" after install. Tried installing and let it auto-resolve. Tried verifying files / repair. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried setting DEP to Windows services only. Tried uninstalling, deleting game directory, running CCleaner, and then reinstalling - nothing works. It craps out with an error and is unplayable. It's a 1.5 gb DL but when it stops there is only about 1 gb in the folder and running either of the game EXEs there results in crashes.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Nevermind - I fixed it. Had to delete the galaxy.db file cuz the client database was screwed up.

I am having the same problem.
Where can I find the galaxy.db file?
Any help you can give is much appreciated
Seems the steps to get to the db file is

- Win key + R
- Type: %programdata%
- Go to GOG.com folder
- Galaxy
- Storage
- Delete galaxy 2.0

Either that fixed the issue or restarting my computer did, one of the two.
I'm having a similar issue, only that GOG won't stop trying to attempt install even after telling it not to. Only way to get it to stop is to close Galaxy. Just really wants to install C++ 2005. This has happened after restarts on two separate PCs. I've submitted a support ticked but I'm also going to try deleting my database file to see if that helps since its worked for you.
