I think we're seeing classic "Russian" difficulty here. Even "easy" campaigns on this "Etherlords 2" are impossible! At least the translations in English are OK this time! :D
Hey this is "Nival" after all - think "Blitzkrieg 2", especially it's ridiculous DLCs!!!!!

Well for me anyway!

I'm stuck already with the first proper opponent in the first map of the first campaign, and on "easy". Some d1ck called "Omega 400E Destructor"..... nope, no can do. Can't even get 10% of way toward beating him. And you can't ALT-TAB this game so there will be no help from Cheat Engine.

So any cheat codes in the game? (though I probably will have Googled these before you even read this :D)

I could always rage quit! I do enjoy a good rage quit!!!!!

PS/ From what I read about Etherlords 1 campaigns, good job I'm not playing that!!!!!

Once you get the hang of things, Easy mode is pretty reasonable. I just finished the Vital section of the campaign (the first four missions), and while I had to replay a few boss battles, I dominated most of the regular ones once I had organized my strategy.

Early on the Vital strategy is more about bolstering your creatures and defending: you'll generally take less damage from ether burn than the opponent. Later on, there are ways to gather so much extra health that you can suck up a few hits and then pound the opponent with stronger creatures.

For the first mission, definitely use Hornets as soon as you get them instead of Ticks or Finguses, because they're flying, so they can't be blocked by non-flying creatures. Treants are great for defense because they can regenerate. Don't forget to use the Forest enchantments to block low-level creatures, too. Replace the starting forest cards with Dark Forest when you get it.
I had finished Etherlords2 in Normal difficulty, at my 1st game, so many years ago.
However I remember it could be though, but I pleasantly succeded.

I am playing my first game of etherlords 2

Loving it!

on easy difficulty there are a few dudes i could not beat here and there, but i discovered the magic 'auto battle' button.

Once i began to understand which spells are useless and which are more useful i could equip my auto battle to defeat even higher level dudes for me.... oh and i try to make sure i conserve the artifacts for the auto battles as well unless there is a recharge station not too far away.

Funny, but as far as my own combat is concerned, even an enemy five or more levels lower than me can defeat me quite easily! And the reason for that is the 'arms race'. If i think an enemy is weak and i just rely on my natural flow of magic then sometimes i will not keep up and the enemy creatures will get too far ahead for me to counter = game over! I have learn't that i have to have some magic producing spells to bring forward some of my magic to the early battle.... (That is the most important thing to know in this game)

Most battles i will only begin with a mid strength creature - never a low level or a high level. If i start with a high level and the enemy is using spells that neutralize or destroy creatures, then i got sucked in, but with mid range, its ok. and i will not 'buff' any creatures unless i absolutely have too.... again just in case the enemy nails it with a spell of some kind, then the loss is mitigated.
