Hey everyone! I wanted to let all the GOG players know that you CAN access the unstable build on GOG. Please note: Playing the unstable branch is a testing branch, and used to test alongside the community. With that being said, bugs could potentially ruin a tavern save, so proceed with caution!

You can access this by clicking on Epic Tavern in your library, then clicking "More" next to "Play", then in the drop-down menu, click "Settings". On the right-hand side, toggle the Beta Channels to "On". From there, select the channel drop-down and click on "Add Private Channels". This will prompt for a password. You do not need a password, just leave the box blank, and click "Submit". Then a new option will appear in the channel drop-down menu called "Public Test Tavern - Unstable". Once that is selected, the game will then update to the unstable build of the game. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Is it possible to get test builds without using the galaxy client?

rwalton42: Is it possible to get test builds without using the galaxy client?
Hey, rwalton42! Our game is currently available through GOG and Steam, and the only way to download any versions available for Epic Tavern (stable build and unstable build), is through the clients only. If you're wanting to test out the unstable version without fear of bugs, I would start a different tavern just to test things out. I hope this answers your question! Please let me know if you have any further questions! :)
Unfortunately it seems that you (the developer) have forgotten about gog.com: on steam they can get the latest unstable release (1181 - see
https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/517720/view/3364771426997795176
) since August 11, but here at gog we still can only download the last stable release (1177) of July 11...

When will we get the next update on gog.com? And can we have unstable releases as offline installers too?
Thank you for any news/updates! I have already bought the game in early 2019 and look forward to playing an updated version!
